Since 1984 when Pete finished his apprenticeship he had been self employed carrying out plumbing and heating work for contractors and general public.
Pete’s dream was always to open a bathroom showroom. At the beginning of 2006 along with his wife Zeena they began to look for premises, after a few months of searching they came across a main road shop near Leigh town centre and Bathtek Northwest was formed. Initially specialising in steam shower cabins, Bathtek soon grew out of its Leigh showroom and only two years later a new showroom was found in Hindley. By now the company had grown significantly and employed two teams of installation engineers, Zeena looking after the showroom and Pete organising and pricing work. The company going from strength to strength. In 2010 the decision to relocate closer to Wigan was made and new premises found. Since moving to our existing showroom in 2010, the company and showroom has grown and is still growing.
Bathtek Northwest offer a bathroom service unique in the Wigan area, a family run company, using only our own engineers, not subcontractors like every other company.
